Several Kapuso stars bag awards at the 66th FAMAS

Several Kapuso stars bagged awards at the 66th FIlipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards at Solaire on Sunday.

In a report on Unang Balita by Luane Dy on Tuesday said Asia's Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose took home the "German Moreno Youth Achievement Award."

Odette Khan meanwhile won the "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" for the movie "Bar Boys" and Mon Confiado was named as the "Best Actor in a Supporting Role" for his act on "Mga Gabing Kasing Haba ng Hair Ko."

Aside from his short speech at the event, Mon took to Instagram to express his gratitude and thank his directors, producers and mentors.

 

This FAMAS award is certainly an honor. I do appreciate the recognition. Thank you Jury! I’m thrilled and terribly humbled. Thank you so much! ?
