"Ika-5 Utos" star Valerie Concepcion said she is willing to give up her showbiz career for a strong marriage with her fiancé Francis Sunga.

In an interview with entertainment reporters on September 3, she was firm with her answer when she was asked whether or not she would be willing to leave her showbiz career for her soon-to-be husband.

"Oo, ano kasi ako eh, 'pag nagmahal ako todo-todo, walang preno.  So, willing ako," Valerie told reporters at the "Ika-5 Utos" press conference.

Valerie said she and Francis are both ready to migrate and make adjustments for each other's career.

She said if her current project opens more doors for her, Francis would be willing to move to the Philippines and if not, Valerie said she also agreed to move to Guam where Francis is based.

"'Yon po ang 'di namin alam. If this show gives me a good career after, he's willing to move here. Pero if not, willing din ako mag-move doon, kasi maganda rin 'yong business niya doon e. I'm just thankful na he's very supportive and nakikita niya na love ko 'yong work ko kaya sabi niya 'Sige babe, ako na 'yong lilipat diyan.'"

Valerie believes the showbiz industry will open its doors for her again if she leaves and comes back.

"When I get older, tapos gusto namin bumalik sa Pilipinas, puwede naman ulit kumatok sa showbiz. At least mas appropriate na 'yong age for mom roles."

Baby plans and Francis as a father to Fiona

When asked if she wanted to have another baby, Valerie revealed that she said she didn't want to at first. However, when she and Francis talked about it, they agreed that it would be nice to have a son together, since both of them already have girls.

"Sabi niya ano ka ba sayang 'yong lahi natin, kahit isa lang. Gusto sana namin baby boy sana, kasi may girl na siya [at] may girl na rin ako, pero kung ibibigay ni Lord na girl, (okay lang)," she said.

Valerie was teary-eyed when she narrated how blessed she feels to have Francis as a father figure to her daughter, Fiona.

"Kasi 'yong anak ko, mag-14 na siya sa October. So minsan 'yong fiance ko, magsasabi siya na 'bigyan mo ng pera 'yong anak natin' (at) 'o, nasundo mo na ba 'yong anak natin,'" she narrated.

Valerie said she feels grateful to have found a partner who treats Fiona as a real daughter.

"He really offered na bayaran tuition fee ng anak ko, 'yong very... parang kahit hindi niya na-meet ng anak ko 'yong totoong tatay niya, I found someone who would treat her as his own," she said.

She added, "Love ako ni Lord, thank you Lord." — AT, GMA News
