Kris flies to SG for health concerns, vows to pursue case vs. business partner

Self-styled Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has announced that she is flying to Singapore to seek medical treatment after experiencing stress and weight loss. 

Kris shared a statement prepared by her lawyer Atty. Sigfrid Fortun on Instagram, which detailed her plans to fly out of the country "to obtain appropriate medical assessment in the coming days."

A portion of the statement reads:

Medical tests she (Kris) took locally on September 21 and 26 require a more comprehensive set of tests that are currently not available in the country. She has been transparent in sharing with the public the health issues she has battled even as she currently takes maintenance medicine for hypertension, severe allergies, and migraine.

Her recent weight loss prompted her to proactively have some tests done and she was advised by two Philippine physicians to consult with an expert in the field of medicine to have the best knowledge and care to protect her health with all needed medication and treatment.

However, Kris said that she will still "use all legal means" against a business partner who allegedly betrayed her.

In her caption, Kris said she sought two law firms that have no ties to her brother former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III "to battle fairly & with no political agenda."

"This is a period of my life testing my fortitude. Betrayal in any form is heartbreaking, but the attempt of this man & his brother- who never met nor even conversed with me in any form- to alter FACTS by deceitfully & maliciously attacking my family’s honor & credibility, strengthened my resolve to use all legal means for TRUTH TO WIN," Kris added.

She continued, "I shall courageously give my ALL for kuya josh & bimb to be assured that the only parent present in their lives, can & will continue to love, care, and provide for them for many healthier & happier years to come."
