Glaiza not taking a break from showbiz, will be studying to improve self
Breathe easy, Glaiza De Castro fans. The Kapuso actor clarified that she is not taking a break from showbiz .
In a recent one-on-one interview with Glaiza with GMA News, she said she loves what's been happening in her career and she can't imagine stopping anytime soon.
Hindi ako magbe-break kahit kailan," Glaiza said.
The actor said that she will only be gone for three months to study in London in order to further her studies and improve her skills as an artist.
"Kaya ko gagawin 'yong pag-aaral ko dahil sa industry na kinalalagyan ko; dahil gusto kong mag-improve; dahil gusto kong mag-expand, gusto kong ma-nurture pa 'yong skill ko na ginagamit ko for my work."
Glaiza said it's been a lifelong dream to finish school, but after graduating high school she always had to choose to her career in the showbiz industry over her passion.
She joined University of the Philippines' Open University and took up Associate in Arts. This made her realize it wasn't where her heart is and she eventually stopped and enrolled in La Salle's music production course. A showbiz project — "Temptation of Wife" — suddenly fell onto her lap, which made her hit the pause button on her education again.
Glaiza said that despite choosing her career at that time, she eventually found her way back to music.
Pero 'eto lang ang masasabi ko, magmi-meet at magmi-meet sila somewhere down the road, somewhere down the path that you're taking."
What if mag-aral ako i-pursue ko 'yong music?
Glaiza didn't want to have regrets when it's too late and said that she feels grateful now that she has an opportunity to fulfill her dream to pursue her passion in music.
