"Rainbow’s Sunset" won big at the recently concluded MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, bagging 11 awards including the Special Jury Prize for an Actress, which went to Kapuso actor Max Collins.

As it turns out, this is Max’s first acting award.

On Instagram, she posted a photo of herself holding her trophy, thanked God, and said “this is the best  Christmas present I could’ve ever hoped for. I never thought this day would come – especially not tonight!”

She thanked the jurors and the MMFF, as well as the Rainbow’s Sunset team.

“Shocked pa rin ako, and I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful,” read a portion of her message.

She ended her note on a gratitude high, thanking directors she’s worked with and dedicating the award to her family.

“This is for you, my husband, my mom and brother, grandma and aunties, mother in law…love you all.”

Congratulations again Max! — LA, GMA News
