Andrea Torres on having Derek Ramsay as her leading man: 'Sobrang comfortable namin'

Andrea Torres said she and Derek Ramsay — her leading man for the upcoming GMA drama series, "The Better Woman" — were already comfortable with each other the first time they met.

At the story conference of upcoming drama series, Andrea said she first met Derek at the GMA station ID shoot. And though they had to do romantic and sexy scenes then, she did not feel any discomfort.

"Maganda nga eh, kasi nagka-ice breaker na. That was the first time we met tapos gumawa agad kami ng medyo romantic and daring scenes. Sobrang gaan, sobrang comfortable namin sa isa't isa. Never kami nagkaroon ng moment na parang nag-alangan kami or anything," Andrea told GMA News Online.

Andrea believes she and Derek have chemistry and that they get along even during off-cam moments.

"May chemistry and we're okay din off cam, kumabaga magiging maganda 'yung mag-partner namin kasi  comfortable kami. 'Yon naman 'yong importante. Comfortable kayo sa isa't isa."

When asked what she felt when Derek said he has to keep up with Andrea's looks for the show, she said, "grabe ako rin naman na-ano rin ako sa kanya. May pressure din sa 'kin kasi known siya na fit, ang dami niyang sports, so siyempre ako rin."

She said being partnered with Derek made her want to look her best for the show.

"Gusto ko rin na i-push pa 'yong sarili ko, kung ano pa 'yong best na ma-i-po-produce ko for the show na look."
