Joyce Pring's new single 'Baka Sakali' is inspired by Juancho Trivino

Joyce Pring is giving her first love — singing — another shot as she released her newest single "Baka Sakali" featuring Rico Blanco on the eve of her birthday.

"The launch of my first ever original single. On the eve of my birthday. Because it’s never too late to give it another shot," Joyce wrote in the caption of her post on Instagram.

In a report on 24 Oras Weekend, Cata Tibayan said Joyce herself wrote the lyrics while Rico Blanco composed the music.

Joyce admitted that her special someone, Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino, is her inspiration for the song she wrote.

"Sinulat ko siya nung time na sina-start niyang guluhun...ginugulo niya ako mga December," Joyce said, adding she wrote the song at a time when she didn't want to entertain any suitors just yet. "But ito na nga, may Juanchong nanggugulo." 

Joyce called Juancho her best friend. "I mean we do everything together, we hang out, we spend time with my family and friends and he is like a solid rock sa buhay!"

At the launch of her single, Juancho planned a yet another surprise for Joyce. He also uttered the three magic words: "I love you," Juancho told Joyce.

He said he has many wishes for Joyce on her birthday, but the most important one is for her to be happy.

"Marami akong wish para sa kanya pero ang pinaka importante is I just want her to be happy kaya I work hard for that."
