Leading Pasig mayoral candidate Vico Sotto hasn’t been proclaimed yet, but Joey de Leon has already congratulated him.

“Proud of you! So happy for you, Mareng Coney! Pareng Vic, you’re the man!” the Eat Bulaga host exclaimed on Instagram Tuesday morning.

Vico is the 29-year-old child of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes who challenged the 27-year-old rule of the Eusebio clan. He went against re-electionist Robert Eusebio.

On Facebook Tuesday morning, Vico has been updating his followers of his situation. “We arrived here around 2am. It is now 9:03am. We are still waiting for our proclamation,” he began, adding “it is mathematically impossible for our opponents to win.”

On Monday, Vico also waited a long time to cast his ballot as the vote-counting machine malfunctioned in his precinct.
