Eddie Garcia's latest EEG study shows minimal brain activity, doctor says
Eddie Garcia's attending physician Dr. Regina Macalintal-Canlas said in a medical bulletin issued on Wednesday that the actor's latest electroencephalogram (EEG) study showed minimal brain activity.
The same medical bulletin also stated that Garcia remains "dependent on the ventilator to breathe and medications to support his blood pressure."

The 90-year-old actor and director has been in the hospital since June 8 following an incident while shooting for a TV series.
He continues to be in critical condition, having suffered a neck fracture.
His doctors also advised to limit visitors to "prevent complications from occurring."
The actor's family spokesperson Dr. Tony Rebosa previously said that the family refused to remove his life support, but they had agreed to put Garcia on DNR or do-not-resuscitate status.
On Tuesday, Eddie Garcia won the "Pinakamahusay na Pangunahing Aktor" award for his performance in the 2018 Cinemalaya film "ML" directed by Benedict Mique Jr. His Best Actor trophy was brought to the hospital where he has been confined. — LA, GMA News
