GMA Network has inked a partnership with international content distributor Jungo TV.

GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., and Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe Yalong signed the contract with Jungo TV CEO George Chung on Friday.

Also present at the signing were GMA Network Vice President for Sales Riza D. Garduque, and Jungo TV COO Trang Nguyen and Vice President for Distribution Reena Garingan.

The partnership makes GMA Network the first media organization in the Philippines to distribute channels from Jungo TV, specifically its concert network Front Row and Asian Pop network Hallypop.

“We’re very excited about this relationship because we put together some curated channels that are going to be absolutely phenomenal for the Philippine market, which include our music channels and our K-Pop, Asian Pop culture network,” Chung said.

Gozon said that GMA Network is grateful to Jungo TV for the chance to bring their content to the country.

“We are grateful to Jungo TV and Mr. Chung for entrusting us with that channel and content to be the first here in the Philippines to distribute that content. That’s a lot of trust,” he said. —JST, GMA News
