Mariel Rodriguez reveals she and Robin Padilla are expecting a baby girl

Almost two months after announcing that she's pregnant with baby no. 2, Mariel Rodriguez revealed that she and Robin Padilla are expecting a baby girl.

Mariel released her first-ever vlog post on YouTube which showed highlights of her gender reveal party.

In the vlog, Mariel admitted that her second baby was not planned. In fact, she was considering giving her firstborn Isabel a sibling when she turns three years old. Alas, the blessing came early.

"She is so selosa so everyday, feel ko hindi pa siya ready pero maaga binigay ni God yung blessing so ang nickname ko for this baby is Baby Surprise," Mariel said.

At the latter part of the video, Mariel said she wanted a boy for Robin but wished for a girl so her daughter Isabel can have a sister and best friend.

"I wanted a girl for Isabela because I have a sister and my sister and I are the closest ever and in life you need that person a sister  and they'll be sisters forever, best friends forever when i found out that she was a baby girl I cried because I was so happy God really knows what my Isabela needs and Baby Surprise is exactly what she needs," she said.
