Julie Anne San Jose to showcase powerhouse vocals in 'Julie Sings the Divas' concert

Julie Anne San Jose will show off her wide vocal range in true diva style as she holds "Julie Sings the Divas", her concert at The Theatre at Solaire on Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m.

The award-winning and multitalented singer will serenade the audience with timeless classics of legends such as Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey.

Her special guests for the one-night concert are Journey lead singer Arnel Pineda and the UP Concert Chorus.

Julie Anne San Jose will sing the songs of divas Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey in her July 20 concert at The Theatre at Solaire. GMA Corp. Comm.

Julie will be accompanied by the UP Arco String Orchestra under the baton of musical director Maestro Danny Tan.

“I am looking forward to this concert because it’s going to be different and of course, it’s very personal to me. I’m going to perform with an orchestra, which I’ve never done before in my past concerts and I’ve always wanted to do something like that. The songs and performances here will have a new approach to them and I think the audience will very much enjoy what we’ve prepared. I’m very excited,” Julie said.

Julie's concert on July 20 follows her performances at the successful Kapuso concerts “The Sweetheart and the Balladeer: Fun Night Only” in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro, and “Kapusong Pinoy Studio 7 Musikalye sa Brooklyn” with fellow GMA stars.

"Julie Sing the Divas", directed by Louie Ignacio, is presented by Sunny Side Up Productions (SSUP) and GMA Network in cooperation with Solaire Resort and Casino.
