Gabby Eigenmann reveals all-time favorite roles

In his 22 years in showbiz and with GMA Network, Gabby Eigenmann has played many roles in many projects.

But there are two roles that are especially close to the actor's heart: Desmond Montereal in the 2011 teleserye "Munting Heredera" and Dading in the 2014 series with the same name.

In an interview after renewing his contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, Gabby said that his role as Desmond "started it all."

"What paved way talaga was the character portrayed in 'Munting Heredera,' 'yung role ni Desmond. I think that started it all," he recalled.

"I've been in the business for 22 years, 2011 ata nung nabigyan ako ng award for Best Supporting Actor. Kung baga icing on the cake yun eh, 'yun yung one of the most unforgettable characters," he added.

Gabby then gave a nod at his lead role in "Dading."

"Of course let's not forget when I did Dading, yung gay role na ama," he said.

Gabby says he's looking forward to future projects, adding that he's open to anything.

"I'm looking forward kung ano mang ibigay sa 'kin ng GMA. I've always said na kung ano mang project ibigay sa akin, is because they trust yung kakayahan ko kung ano mang role na ibigay sa akin," he said. — LA, GMA News
