Jinri Park slams fiance's bashers: 'Go get a life'

Amid the sea of well-wishes for newly engaged Jinri Park and her partner John, there are those who felt the need to rain on the happy couple's parade.

The actress took to Instagram to address the "mean comments" that were left on her social media accounts after she broke the news of her engagement.

"To all the people who wrote some mean comments, I hope you guys find someone who loves you and learn to love yourself because it’s clear that you don’t know what Love is to be typing those comments at someone who has never done you harm," she said.

Jinri was more vocal about the issue in her Instagram Stories.

In a series of posts, she defended John and told off those who left mean comments about him.

"I don't mind you haters commenting sh-t about me, but leave my boyfriend alone. He didn't do anything to deserve your stupid comments," she said.

"And no he's not rich but he loves me and has the most beautiful heart and that's all I need. Go get a life," she added.

Despite the haters, Jinri's excitement could not be dampened.

Thank you to everyone who sent their blessings to me and John! I’ve realized that the generic phrase “You just know” when you ask couples how did you know he’s the one? Is so true. Everything just seems right and you have absolutely no doubt. That’s when you know he’s the one. The universe will make it happen in the most unexpected time and place. To all the people who wrote some mean comments, I hope you guys find someone who loves you and learn to love yourself because it’s clear that you don’t know what Love is to be typing those comments at someone who has never done you harm. Anyways! He’s Filipino by blood but an Australian(can’t speak Filipino for the love of his life and I make fun of him for that ???????? I’m better in Filipino than you John ?????) . I’m grateful I found a Filipino guy because I can always have a part of the Philippines, a place I called home with me in my heart ?? Excited for this next chapter of my life ????????????

In the same Instagram post, she talked about how she knew that John was "the one."

"I’ve realized that the generic phrase 'You just know' when you ask couples how did you know he’s the one? Is so true. Everything just seems right and you have absolutely no doubt. That’s when you know he’s the one. The universe will make it happen in the most unexpected time and place," she said.

In her latest vlog, where the couple announced their engagement, they shared that John was a Filipino who grew up in Australia and that they met through mutual friends.

Jinri clarified that John, while Filipino by blood, was an Australian citizen and that she actually speaks better Filipino than him.

"I’m grateful I found a Filipino guy because I can always have a part of the Philippines, a place I called home with me in my heart," she said.
