Isko Moreno cries after Kuya Germs was brought up in interview

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno couldn't stop his tears when the late German "Kuya Germs" Moreno was brought up during an interview.

During an interview in "Dobol B sa News TV" on Thursday, GMA News Pillar Mike Enriquez told Isko that Kuya Germs is currently watching over them with a smile.

Isko failed to answer and was moved to tears instead.

Shortly after, Isko recalled that when he was still with "That's Entertainment," there were around 200 of them but Kuya Germs would always look out for him.   

"Kasi mga 200 plus kaming mga bata sa [That's Entertainment] di ba. Ever since lagi siyang naka-focus sa akin," he said.

Before entering politics, Isko was a known name in the showbiz industry.

But before that, he lived in the slums collecting bottles and trash, until he was discovered by Kuya Germs.

Kuya Germs, host of "Walang Tulugan," passed away on January 8, 2016 due to cardiac arrest.
