Michael V says he forgot his lines while working with Dawn Zulueta in 'Family History'
Michael V, the writer, director and producer of “Family History”, admitted in a Stand For Truth episode on Friday that he would sometimes forget his lines when he was working with Dawn Zulueta for the film.
Asked how he directs his own team, he said, “Bawat role may kanya-kanyang challenges pero i can say na equally may kanya-kanyang hirap at reward.”
When it came to Dawn, however, Michael V gave a nervous shiver.
“Kay Dawn lang ako nagkaroon ng kalisud ng onti. Ako nagsulat, ako nagdirek pero nakakalimutan ko linya ko,” Michael V joked.
Producing and directing the film itself wasn’t a walk in the park as well, according to the Kapuso actor.
Coming from TV production, he thought that making a film was easy since sequences for TV shows would be finished just within a day, he said.
“Iba pala ang pelikula,” he said. “Do not underestimate ‘yung difficulties na ma-e-encounter mo sa paggawa ng pelikula na kung gusto mo maging maganda kailangan mo talagang paghirapan.”
Michael V said he chose to direct the film as well because as the writer of the script, he wanted his vision to be fully seen through.
“Family History”, a film about faith, love and hope within family relationships, will hit cinemas nationwide on July 24. —Kaela Malig/KG, GMA News
