Renowned international acting coach Anthony Bova described the Kapuso actors who are training under him as "hungry, talented and very committed."

Bova flew all the way from New York to Manila to train another batch of GMA artists.

This year Bova has a total of 60 talents training under him including Thea Tolentino, Klea Pined, Arra San Agustin, Vaness del Moral, Jeric Gonzales, Juancho Triviño, Manolo Pedrosa, Jak Roberto and Benjamin Alves.

Bova alongside her former student and now co-teacher Ana Feleo said they are not only tapping on acting techniques but also on their maturity as a human being.

"The technique of acting is very important the tools set for the actors to have to go into depth with specificity in character development is very very important but it isn't outmatched, the maturity of their humanity, it doesn't," Bova said in an interview with GMA Entertainment reporters at a press conference.

Feleo said they are instilling "the values, the responsibilities of the actor being a grounded human being."

"Talent and technique is one huge point but if you know your values are not so grounded, your ethics are not so grounded then it's very hard," she said. "These actors are now working on both and that's a good thing about the Bova brand."

Ana said the Kapuso actors are very trusting of her and her job has become way "beyond eing teacher it's like a mother hen for me."

"They're very open, and once you win their trust they really surrender to you and it's such an honor as a facilitator to be given this much trust," she continued.

The actors and Bova keep in touch through a group chat and a group Facebook live,"There's like 70 updates, so there's this sense  that what do we do next and here's another question."

Bova said the thing he always tells his scholars what he would tell his daughter, "You must ask questions for the rest of your lives, because if you stop asking questions that's not good and these kids are just asking and asking and that's exciting." — LA, GMA News
