Alden Richards says upcoming drama series 'The Gift' will show big improvements in Manila City

Alden Richards said they have been shooting a lot of scenes for his upcoming series "The Gift" in Manila City, which explains his recent courtesy call with Mayor Isko Moreno.

"Yes, nag-courtesy call po kami since we’re doing most of the shoots and tapings po sa Manila," Alden told entertainment reporters in an interview during the recent "Avel x Alden" collection launch.

"Gusto po talaga namin mapakita sa mga Manileño, sa mga Kapuso natin na kung gaano kalaki ang in-improve ng Manila," Alden added.

Alden will portray a role of Sef, a guy who lives in Divisoria, who later on loses his eyesight.

Alden is set to return to primetime with "The Gift," to air on GMA in September with fellow Kapuso actors Jo Berry, Jean Garcia, Mikee Quintos, Thia Thomalla, Rochelle Pangilinan and Ysabel Ortega. — LA, GMA News
