In tears, Claudine Barretto prays to Rico Yan

Shortly after dedicating an Instagram post for her father, Claudine Barretto, posted on a video of herself in tears at Rico Yan's memorial.

"Rico, please help me take care of Daddy," she wrote in her IG caption, referring to her former boyfriend, who passed away in 2002.

In the video, Claudine was seen sharing her thoughts and fears aloud, in between sobs.

In an interview with Unang Balita on Wednesday morning, Claudine denied starting the fight between her sisters Gretchen and Marjorie during the Barretto patriarch's wake last week, refuting what her sister Marjorie said in an interview on Tuesday night.

"Ako nagsimula ng gulo? First of all, hinding hindi ko magagawa 'yun sa harapan ng Presidente o kahit sino mang mas nakakatatanda na nirerespeto ko," Claudine said. 

She defended her Ate Gretchen and said, "Nag-give way talaga 'yung ate ko. With all humility, alam mong napakahirap gawin 'yun ha. Ikaw ang ate, ikaw ang magkpapaubaya." — Angelica Y. Yang/LA, GMA News
