LRT1 operating hours to be extended from Oct. 25 to Dec. 31 for holiday season
The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) on Thursday announced extended train service hours for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 which will take effect from October 25 to December 31 in observance of the holiday season.
“We are extending the LRT-1 operating hours to accommodate the influx of passengers during the holiday rush. We continue to listen and find ways on how to better serve the needs of our customers," LRMC Chief Operating Officer Enrico Benipayo said in a statement.

The last trains will depart from Baclaran Station at 10 p.m. and it will leave Roosevelt Station at 10:15 p.m. during weekdays. On weekends, it will leave from Baclaran and Roosevelt stations at 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., respectively.
Meanwhile, there will be no changes for the first northbound and southbound trips of LRT1, which starts at 4:30 a.m. on weekdays and weekends.
On December 24, the train will be available from 4:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for both northbound and southbound trips while it will be open from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for both bounds on December 31.
LRT 1 will also be available on December 25, Christmas Day, and January 1, New Year's Day.
