Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas remains a Kapuso, renews contract with GMA Network

GMA Network remains home to the one and only Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas.

The award-winning comedian, actress and host, who dressed to impress in a pink K-pop inspired outfit, renewed her contract with GMA Network on Tuesday at the ceremony alongside with GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and Asian Artists Agency COO Rowena Salido.

After the signing, Aiai assured viewers that they'll be seeing more of her as a judge on "The Clash," a host on "Sunday Pinasaya," as well as other TV shows on GMA-7.

"Thank you sa GMA, and I'm still very, very much a Kapuso," Aiai said.

The versatile actress and multi-hyphenated performer returned to GMA Network as a full-time Kapuso in 2015. 

"Dito siya nagumpisa, dito siya sumikat, at hanggang ngayon ay sumisikat siya," Atty. Gozon said. "Natutuwa tayo na hanggang ngayon magkasama pa rin tayo dahil (she's) versatile eh, kahit saan mo ilagay, pumupuwede."

"Kilala natin (si Aiai) sa comedy, kilala natin siya na nakakakapag-host, nakakapag-perform on-stage, tas ngayon award-winning actress sa movies, di ba?" Rasonable added.
