Here's how Aiai Delas Alas' love affair with K-pop began

Aiai Delas Alas is living proof that even famous superstars can pledge all-out love and support for their favorite Korean idols.

In fact, the Comedy Queen even showed up to her GMA Network contract renewal in an eye-catching K-pop-inspired outfit as a "paandar."

After the signing,  Aiai revealed in an interview that her fascination with K-pop actually began at home.

"Yung anak ko dati 'yung talagang kpop fan tapos naaano ako sa kanya, nawi-wierdo-han ako sa kanya, kasi parati siyang mapupuyat sa K-pop. Sabi ko, ano ba 'yan? Hindi mo naman naiintindihan. Biro mo, every word, (ita-translate) mo, di ba?" she told told GMA News Online.

"Sabi niya, 'Mommy, manood ka, para ma-experience mo."

And, like many of us, Aiai was sucked in after watching the Korean drama "Boys Over Flowers."

"So ang una ko talagang oppa crush, si Lee Min Ho," she said, referring to the South Korean actor who played the lead hearthrob on the show,  Gu Jun-pyo.

"Tapos, since (then), nakasanayan kong manood nang manood," she added.

We've also learned that Aiai is quite fond of sharing the K-pop love with her family and fellow fans.

We saw this side of the comedian-actress last month when she and her daughter went full fangirl at "Fight For My Way" actor Park Seo Joon's fanmeet in Manila.

From her seat, Aiai even posted constant updates on Instagram for all her followers who couldn't make it.
