Benjamin Alves renews contract with GMA Network: 'This has always been my home'

Benjamin Alves is happy to remain part of the Kapuso family.

The handsome and talented actor renewed his contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, saying he was thankful and felt right at home.

"This has always been my home," Benjamin told reporters after the signing.

"I've always felt that from the time when I started," he added.

Benjamin was all-smiles at the ceremony attended by GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Lara, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora. Benjamin's talent manager Jonas Gaffud was also at the signing.

The Guam-born actor and model officially became a Kapuso in 2012 and has since delighted viewers in several of the network's highly-acclaimed series and teleseryes including "Dahil sa Pag-ibig," "Sahaya," and "Magpakailanman."

His dramatic acting also garnered spectacular reviews, manifesting in the 2013 romance "Sana Dati" where he starred alongside Kapuso actress Lovi Poe and actor Paulo Avelino.

Benjamin, however, is not just a gaze-worthy leading man.

He graduated summa cum laude in English Literature at the University of Guam. He was also named ambassador of the prestigious GMA Network Excellence Award (GNEA).
