Glaiza De Castro wins another Best Actress trophy for Liway

Glaiza de Castro was named Best Actress at the 5th Platinum Stallion Media Awards by Trinity University of Asia.

The Kapuso star was recognized for her outstanding performance in the 2018 independent film "Liway" directed by Kip Oebanda, which yells a powerful story about a mother's struggle to raise a child in a makeshift prison camp for dissidents during Martial Law.

In an IG post, Glaiza dedicated the award to "'Liway' at sa lahat ng mga nakasama niyang lumaban."

Glaiza was also nominated by the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
