Kris Bernal wins 'Most Outstanding TV Actress 2019' in Gawad Amerika Foundation

Kris Bernal bagged the "Most Outstanding TV Actress 2019" award in the Gawad Amerika Foundation.

The Kapuso actress announced the news on her Instagram account on Sunday, with a photo of herself holding the trophy in Hollywood.

"Thank you Gawad Amerika Foundation for this recognition, Most Outstanding TV Actress 2019," she began her caption.

Kris expressed how honored she feels to receive the award alongside other Filipino talents.

"Never in my wildest dream would I ever think that I would be coming here in California to receive such a prestigious award," she wrote.

She thanked her fans and supporters for their "undying love and support, for watching my shows, and appreciating my efforts. Maraming salamat po!"

Just last July, Kris said she's been aiming to receive an award after 12 years in the showbiz industry.
