Former OFW gets emotional after watching Dennis Trillo portray his life in 'Magpakailanman' special

Rens Tuzon isn't like any other man.

After his tragic story was shared with the award-winning drama anthology "Magpakailanman", the show decided to feature his story for their anniversary special.

What's more amazing? The Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo himself will be playing as Rens.

Rens admitted that he couldn't help but be emotional as he watched Dennis portray his life during taping.

He said, "Kinikilabutan talaga kasi pag umiiyak siya tumatalikod ako sa eksena kasi napapaiyak ako, kasi buhay ko 'yun...Bawat move niya, bawat salita niya, ang hirap."

Just like a lot of Filipinos, Rens decided to fly to Saudi Arabia to give himself and his family a better life. However, he and his 12 fellow OFWs were soon subjected to tremendous abuse. Upon escaping, their Arab employers and even the police soon tried to catch all of them.

While he was fighting for his life, he would soon find out that his wife was actually cheating on him back at home.

Rens admitted that seeing Dennis act it out also brought back some painful memories. He said, "Sadly bumabalik kasi pinapanood ko siya pero happy kasi ilang milyon sa Pilipinas, I mean, tao sa mundo, at isa ako sa mapalad na makita sa 'Magpakailanman and ma-share ko buhay ko tapos isang Dennis Trillo pa ang gaganap."

Aside from Dennis, Ina Feleo and Lito Pimentel will star in "Magpakailanman"'s two-part special this coming December 7 and 14 after "Daddy's Gurl." — LA, GMA News
