Henry Cavill is coming to Manila, and yes there’s a fan event we can all go to!

Netflix is bringing Henry Cavill to Manila on Thursday, December 12 to promote "The Witcher" and yes, there is a fan event us mortals can go to so we can breathe the same air as the British actor.

The fan event will begin at 5pm on December 12, Thursday at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Activity Center, D. Macapagal Boulevard cor Asean Avenue, Aseana City, Paranque.

It’s a first-come, first-serve basis and because there’s limited space, Netflix is encouraging everybody to come early.

Apart from assured space, early birds can get a swag bag, some quality time at the special photo zone, open everyday from 11am to 9pm, from December 10 to 13, and the opportunity to watch the very first episode of "The Witcher."

Henry stars as Geralt of Rivia in the show based on the best-selling fantasy series of books with the same name. The story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, gnomes and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.

Even before it could start streaming in the Philippines, "The Witcher" has already been picked up for a second season, which will begin production in London in early 2020.

Henry Cavill, as elderly millennials will know, is the dreamy British actor who starred in the likes of "The Count of Monte Cristo," "Man of Steel," "Justice League," and most recently, in "Mission Impossible-Fallout." — LA, GMA News
