South Korean TV Network SBS partners with GMA to co-produce 'Running Man Philippines'


South Korean TV Network SBS signed a contract with GMA Network on Tuesday morning for the co-production of Running Man Philippines, which is set to air on 2021.

 

 

Present during the signing are GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, GMA Network President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, EVP, CFO Felipe S. Yalong, SBS Korea Chief Global Contents Officer Kim Yong Jae and Global Production & Business Team Director Kim Soo Hwan.

This is SBS's first co-production with a Philippine network, Yong Jae said.

"We experienced the success in Vietnam and China and we're expecting a lot in the Philippines also," Yong Jae told GMA reporters.

Gozon said he is thrilled to be partnering with a well-known network in South Korea and is hoping to make it a top rating show in the Philippines.

"We are also very delighted to partner with a great institution in content and we know that this "Running Man" is a top rating program not only in South Korea  but in other countries and we hope to make it also a top rater her in the Philippines," Gozon said.

"Running Man Philippines" is expected to air on 2021.

The cast of Running Man Korea Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, and Jeon So Min are set to have a fan meet at the Mall; of Asia Arena on June 21. — LA, GMA News
