Viral pilot Jeremy Go has 'no regrets' meeting Steffi Buenafe in the 'most special' way

Although viral pilots Jeremy Go and Steffi Buenafe have decided to stay friends for now, they still spent Valentine's Day making fans kilig by appearing on a television interview together.

In an Instagram post, Jeremy said that though he is single, this made it a "memorable" Valentine's Day this year.

"Valentine's Day should not only be celebrated with your significant other, but also with your loved ones and friends. Being single should not hinder you from spending the day alone. I sure had a memorable one this year," he wrote.

He also called Steffi a "smart, strong, and independent woman" in his post and quoted what she said during the interview with GMA News' Aubrey Carampel.

"A smart, strong, and independent woman once said 'We don't close our doors to anything so if it happens, it happens.' This is now something I believe in," he said.

Jeremy added that meeting Steffi the way he did was "by far the most special" scenario.

"Of all the possible scenarios of meeting someone, this would be by far the most special. To think that I was having second thoughts about joining EB due to shyness and lack of confidence. Overall, I have no regrets," he said.

Meanwhile, Steffi said in her own Instagram post that meeting Jeremy was the "plot twist of 2020."

"Of all the ways we could meet a friend from a nearby school, iisipin mo bang magkakakilala kayo sa EB pa? With everything that happened, we’re grateful for new friendship we made on our own terms and how people around support that," she wrote.

Steffi and Jeremy were among the professional pilots who guested on Eat Bulaga's "Bawal Judgemental" segment.

There it was revealed that both of the young pilots were 24-years old and single, prompting hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Maine Mendoza to start pairing them up.

After following each other on Twitter backstage, the professional pilots were spotted meeting up in Clark, Pampanga this month. They even gave pasalubong to each other.

Based on their Valentine's Day interview, it's clear that the two of them are friends who support each other — for now. But it could very well blossom into something more.
