Alden Richards all praises for ‘Centerstage’ kid contestants
Asia's Multimedia Star and "Centerstage" host Alden Richards had nothing but praise for the talented child contestants of the singing competition.
"'Yung confidence na pinapakita nila sa performances is way beyond their age. 'Yung voice quality nila is more than their age so nakakatuwa to be a witness," he told Cata Tibayan in a "Chika Minute" report on Friday.
The 28-year old actor added: "Kung gaano katindi ang mga napanood nila these past two weeks, medyo mas matindi ang ibinibigay natin sa kanilang mga bata."
During its first few episodes, "Centerstage" featured the amazing performances of Xylia Banaag who pulled off a show-stopping whistle note and Hargie Ganza who was named as the defending champion of the Ultimate Centerstage Bida title during the latest segment.
At the end of the competition, one grand champion will be named.
"Centerstage" is GMA-7's newest musical reality show, which first aired on February 16, 2020.
With an interactive scoring system, the show also tapped into a resident psychologist who could help kids deal with foreseeable disappointments as the show progressed. —Angelica Yang/LDF, GMA News
