How Megan Young and Mikael Daez are adjusting to quarantine life

Megan Young and Mikael Daez just made another podcast, where they talked about how the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) threat has affected their lives.

The newlyweds began by admitting flat-out that they were no experts, nor did they have special classified information to share with their listeners — they were just two of many people in Metro Manila who are adjusting to the quarantine life.

In the video version of their podcast on YouTube, Megan and Mikael are seen wearing cute fluffy slippers, while they have a conversation on their couch.

Megan opened up about feeling scared for her family members, even before the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases swelled in the Philippines.

Mikael, on the other hand, lamented that there are people he works with who are really worried about not having any income for an entire month.

The couple also talked about how they’ve been extra-careful going in and out of the house.

They also had things they can look forward to during their time at home which, of course, includes gaming and working out.

“So much happened so fast,” Megan said.

“Can you imagine like just a month ago, we had complete freedom? And now basically we’re in quarantine, if you think about it, because you never know who has the virus. It’s just a complete turn-around,” she added.

The couple said their listeners will be hearing from them again pretty soon, because it was only “day one.”

“Hopefully, we can help each other out,” Mikael said.

“Hopefully we’ll keep you guys updated, because its always nice to know what everybody else is feeling. But, for now, I hope you guys can come up with your own routine, find positive vibes to look forward to, and  good luck to the whole world. Stay safe!” he also said.

Megan added, “Let’s be a guiding force for each other."

President Rodrigo Duterte ordered a Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine in an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The Philippines has reported 142 cases, including 12 deaths, as of Monday.

Under this condition, strict home quarantine will be implemented in all households, transportation will be suspended, provision for food and essential health services will be regulated and the presence of uniformed personnel to enforce quarantine procedures will be heightened.
