Ruby Rodriguez says her sister is 'weak but stable,' asks people to stop spreading fake news
Ruby Rodriguez took to Twitter to shut down fake news and rumors that her sister, Dr. Sally Gatchalian, president of the Philippine Pediatric Society, has died.
In a tweet, Ruby said her sister is "weak but stable" and she is fighting.
"Yes, she is my sister. Yes, she is confined. Yes we all are praying and scared. But when fake news spreads and people texting me condolences. I ask, please. She is fighting! She is weak but stable. Please," the Eat Bulaga host wrote in a tweet on Saturday.
