Alden Richards, Vic Sotto, Pauleen Luna lead online prayer brigade for frontliners

Alden Richards, Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna went live on the Eat Bulaga Facebook account to lead an online prayer brigade for those affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country.

In their live video, the Kapuso celebrities led thousands of viewers in praying the rosary, and sang songs of worship as Bossing Vic plays the guitar.

Alden, Vic and Pauleen also got to interact with, and send well wishes to their Dabarkads at home and abroad.

“Thank you po sa lahat ng mga nandito ngayon para makidasal sa amin, mga Dabakarads. Kaya natin ‘to. Heto ‘yung isa sa mga pinaka-essential  na bagay na puwede nating gawin at times like this is to offer a prayer to each and everyone,” Alden said.

“Iba talaga ang power ng kasal, at power ng maraming taong nagdadasal,” Pauleen added.

The Philippines has a total of 552 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday. The number of fatalities also rose to 35 while the total number of recoveries climbed to 20.

Meanwhile, 704 people have tested negative for the disease.

All of Luzon has been placed under enhanced community quarantine to address the threat of the coronavirus.
