Korean actor Song Joong Ki to undergo self-quarantine after filming in Colombia — report

South Korean actor Song Joong Ki will reportedly undergo self-quarantine after filming a movie in Colombia amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Citing his agency History D&C, entertainment website Soompi reported that Joong Ki returned to South Korea on March 24, and clarified that he “had no problems concerning his health.”

He was, however, to spend “some significant amount of time in self-isolation and taking the opportunity to rest in the meantime."

Joong Ki starred in the hit K-drama “Descendants of the Sun” together with his now ex-wife Song Hye-kyo in 2016. He also starred in Netflix series “Arthdal Chronicles” in 2019.
