Lola Nidora surprises an Aldub ‘Kalyeserye’ fan on Zoom

Wally Bayola slipped back into his iconic TV character, Lola Nidora, just to bring good vibes to their Dabarkads online.

In a Zoom meeting, Lola Nidora reunited with her “amiga,” Boss Madam played by Ryzza Mae Dizon and personally greeted their fans, who reached out to them during the call.

A super Kalyeserye fan even got to join the livestream.

Teacher Analyn from Catbalogan City, Samar was absolutely thrilled because she misses switching on the TV to find out what happened next to “Yaya Dub” and Alden Richards.

Analyn said she even tells her students about the Kalyeserye because they can learn a lot of life lessons, like courtship, respecting your elders, and the almost proverbial "tamang panahon."

Kalyeserye was a soap opera comedy on “Eat Bulaga” that started in 2015, which later grew into a nationwide phenomenon.

It centers on the fictional “Aldub” couple played by Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards, who are constantly being guided by a watchful Lola Nidora.
