Angela Alarcon and Claire Castro reveal why they joined showbiz

Angela Alarcon and Claire Castro revealed that they wanted to enter the showbiz industry after witnessing their fathers working while they were growing up.

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Angela said that she would always watch her father, Jestoni Alarcon, in his films and teleseryes.

"Ever since bata pa lang ako gusto ko na mag-showbiz," said the budding star. "Avid fan ako ng dad ko. Ginagaya ko linya niya everytime."

Claire, the daughter of Diego Castro, was similarly influenced with her exposure to her father's career.

"When I was younger my dad would bring my sister and I to the setup of shows and it kinda stayed with me," she said.

Just last year, Angela signed a contract with GMA Artist Center while Claire joined the network in 2018.
