Kim Domingo launches vlog with Q&A, answers why she decided to lie low on sexy image

For her first vlog, Kim Domingo answered some burning questions from netizens including one that asked why she decided to lie low on her sexy image.

The Kapuso actress said she made the decision on her own and didn't anyone.  "Sinimulan ko siya sa sarili ko. Una diyan yung 'di na ako nagpo-post ng mga pa-sexy. Napansin niyo yun 'di ba? 'Yung pananamit di na masyadong revealing, 'yung mga damit ko kahit sa mga taping ko nun diba may mga nakapansin," she said.

Kim said she wanted to change her sexy image because she wasn't happy with it. Besides, Kim earned a fanbase among children when she did the GMA-7 fantasy superhero series "Super Ma'am."

"Sabi ko ang galing naman, kasi may mga bata na nakaka-appreciate sa 'kin. So dun nag-start na, ang sarap pala sa feeling na hindi lang puro lalaki yung nakaka-appreciate sa yo. Meron din mga bata na iniidolo ka ayun na inuunti unti ko na," Kim shared.

During the initial period of her decision to lie low on her sexy image, Kim revealed that there were people who misunderstood her.

"Akala ang iba, nagiinarte na ako, lalo na sa trabaho," Kim narrated. "Hindi nila naiintindihan na hindi ka na nga masaya sa ganon."

Kim said eventually people around her started to understand where she's coming from.

The actress admitted she lost some of the many fans she had back when she was still focusing on her sexy image but she said there were more people who appreciated her for what she really is.

"Maraming nawala pero ang hindi niyo alam maraming pumalit. Mas maraming taong nagmamahal sa kin ngayon.

"Ganito pala yung lasa ng nirerespeto ka. Mas masarap siya dun kesa dun sa mga ang sexy mo hot mo di ako against dun masayang masaya ako...I'm free ganon."

She said she's been working on herself to be appreciated for what she is as a person and for her talent as an actress.
