Heart Evangelista starts giving away over 500 tablets to 'students and kids who need it most'

Heart Evangelista has started giving away more than 550 pieces of tablets to be distributed to "students and kids who need it most" to help them with online schooling, amid the pandemic.

On social media, Heart posted a photo of herself with piles of boxes delivered at her home, saying "My struggle, my happiness, my story is on every canvas. I know it's also for a reason glory to God. Worth 550 tablets to kids and students who need it the most."

On Twitter, she said she sold an artwork of hers which she had put "time, hardwork, and love" and it allowed her to purchase the first batch of tablets for the students.

Last Thursday, Heart announced on Twitter that she will be giving away tablets to students, who are struggling to buy one for online schooling amid the pandemic.

In another post, Heart said this was only the first batch of her giveaway.

Amid the quarantine period, Heart Evangelista has been donating cash and groceries who have been reaching out to her for help. She also gave away packs of Vitamin C to frontliners including guards, delivery riders, and hospital staff.

Most parents and guardians have raised concerns over additional household expenses for gadgets and mobile load for internet connection should distance learning take effect.
