Thea Tolentino graduates from college, attends online ceremony

Thea Tolentino just graduated from college!

In Audrey Carambel's report on "24 Oras," the actress shared that she earned a degree in Business Administration, Major in Public Administration from the Trinity University of Asia.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Thea's physical graduation on June 8 was converted into an online ceremony on June 20.

"'Yung mga professors lang nandoon. They announced all the names na grumaduate... Dapat nandoon kami sa stage, naka-toga pero hindi natuloy," the actress said.

Thea said that balancing both her work and her studies wasn't a walk in the park.

"Minsan talaga galing taping makakapunta na ako sa school walang ligo," she said. "Talagang tiyinaga ko kahit duling na ako minsan."

She also said that she couldn't have done it without her considerate professors and helpful classmates.

Although she wasn't able to march and receive her diploma on stage just like what she dreamed of doing, Thea said that her school promised to hold a ceremony for the batch next year. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
