Sam Milby: 'I will do everything in my power to protect' Catriona Gray

Sam Milby said on Instagram Sunday that he "will do everything in my power to protect" his girlfriend Catriona Gray.

Without naming names, Sam said he "cannot simply stand by and allow other people to take control of a narrative that is not theirs to tell."

While they've chosen to keep their relationship mostly private, Sam clarified that "silence doesn't imply guilt. It has been our initial choice not to dignify nor respond to all these baseless claims."

He adds, "these wrongful accusations and defamatory lies are dangerous."

Sam characterised the Miss Universe 2018 as "one of the kindest souls" he's ever known.

"She is always putting other people first; thinking of how to use her voice and talent to help other people in need. Her grace, dignity, and strength even in the midst of all these false accusations makes [sic] me admire and love her even more," he said.

"I will always be here for her and will do everything in my power to protect her," he ended his statement.

Earlier on Sunday, Catriona's lawyer warned the public of a fake topless photo of Cat circulating online.

"We strongly denounce this vicious attempt to tarnish the good name of Ms. Gray," said Atty. Joji Alonso, adding that they are coordinating with authorities to hold accountable whoever is behind the scheme.

Sam announced he and Catriona were dating in May. — LA, GMA News
