Ruru Madrid serenades fans with cover of 'Sweet Night' by BTS' V

Ruru just posted a swoon-worthy cover of "Sweet Night" by BTS' V.

In the caption, the Kapuso actor and singer said he dedicated the song to all his supporters and Philippine ARMY's who have been showering him with love.

"To my Rurunatics family, thank you for everything! To all the ARMYs, thank you for making me feel your love! Borahae!" he wrote.

"Sweet Night" was originally performed and penned by V for Park Seo Joon's hit K-drama, "Itaewon Class."

Ruru's cover has raked in more than 13,000 likes less than a day after posting, along with a whopping 52,000 views.

Ruru Madrid doesn't mind being compared to BTS member V. In fact, he thinks it's an honor!

The Kapuso actor caused quite a buzz on social media last week after netizens likened his OOTD to the K-pop idol's sense of style.

Ruru was flattered by the comparison, tweeting: "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who showed their love and support for me yesterday. It was unexpected!”

"To be compared with an icon like Taehyung is such an honor that is why my heart is full until now," the actor added.

Ruru’s viral mirror selfie reached Big Hit Entertainment's fan community platform WeVerse, where V couldn't help but notice and comment.

He said in Korean, which is roughly translated to English, "Ah… Seeing things like this makes me think if I should give up on working out." —Margaret Claire Layug/MGP, GMA News
