I believe the biggest breakthroughs come from conquering your fears. I invested in myself this season & made sure to do it on the 29th of June. My Papa’s birthday. I hope your Happy Gryk! Your girl is growing some balls. FINALLY! I have always looked up to Cherie Gil Eigenmann. I remember messing up in front of her when I was new in the industry. I had one line & buckled in the scene because I was so overwhelmed by her presence. She told me to RELAX! I promised myself the next time I’d get a chance to work with her, I would do better! So fast forward to Magic Palayok where we played Kookoo Sisters.. that was fun & because I was acting with her for a whole season, I learned so much! So when I saw that she would be teaching a Masterclass.. I knew I had to join. Sharing with all of you 2 versions of my chosen monologue from “That Which Isn’t”. In the scene, Helen, is describing her aging Mother’s home. First Version was coming from a very present state of being. Second Version was done with added character requirements & circumstances from Cherie. All I can say is she reminded me how powerful an Actor is. One just needs to be brave enough to use their imagination. ? Thank you so much Cherie! I’ve told you so many times.. I am so grateful! To my dear classmates.. you are all wonderful beings. Missy Maramara Thank you too for your valuable insights. ?? P.S. I would have never posted this because I always feel shy about my work. Pero eto na nga! ????

Chynna delivered line after line in one long take, with heavy emotion and tears in her eyes.

The director of photography for the second version was none other than her husband Kean Cipriano, who filmed it in such a way that it felt like the audience was at the table with Chynna.

Chynna did the monologues as part of Cherie Gil Eigenmann’s very first only masterclass.

In the caption of her video, the “Victor Magtanggol” star shared how she had always admired the veteran actress, who taught her valuable lessons early on in her career.

“All I can say is she reminded me how powerful an Actor is. One just needs to be brave enough to use their imagination,” she said.

Chynna was also happy to share the monologue on the anniversary of her late father's birthday.

"I believe the biggest breakthroughs come from conquering your fears," the actress wrote.

"I invested in myself this season & made sure to do it on the 29th of June. My Papa’s birthday. I hope your Happy Gryk! Your girl is growing some balls. Finally!"

Cherie herself was very impressed, saying it was “effortless and fluid.”

“I myself was amazed and shocked! Though having worked with her before, I’ve never seen this fantastic ‘hidden’ side of her! (must not be kept hidden anymore),” she said.
