Donita Nose on her way to recovery from COVID-19, plans to stage tribute for frontliners

Donita Nose is on her way to recovery after testing positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) last week.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," the comedian-host is now in high spirits and eager to give back to the healthcare workers who have taken care of her at the hospital.

"Pag gumaling ako totally gusto kong magkaroon ng parang live show sa Facebook man o kung saan, parang tribute ko sa mga frontliners," said the "Wowowin" co-host.

"Tapos  kung may magbibigay ng mga konting donation ibibigay ko din sa kanila kung paano in a way na makakatulong ako," she said.

Donita also plans to donate her blood plasma to contribute in COVID-19 research.

"Sabi ko, 'Ay naku Doc, willing ako. Kunin n'yo lahat, makatulong lang sa kanila,''" she said.

"Hindi lang tulong na dugo lang 'yung binigay ko, kundi pati 'yung saya ng katawan ko, 'yung energy, gusto ko makuha nila lahat," she added.

Donita said she got her cheer back by thinking positively despite her situation.

"I pray a lot, inisip ko 'yung mga bagay-bagay na magaganda sa buhay ko. Sabi ko mangyayari ulit ito sa buhay ko," she said. —MGP, GMA News
