GMA Pinoy TV develops content distribution through internet-enabled platforms amid the quarantine

GMA Pinoy TV is continuously developing its content distribution amid the quarantine, connecting to and meeting audiences where they are, on the web.

"We want to make sure that we are available where our viewers want to consume content, so I think that's a given in this environment viewing habits continue to evolve because of technology and the next generation also consumes content differently so that's what we need to do and started to do," GMA Network First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph T. Francia said in a virtual media conference for GMA Pinoy TV's 15th anniversary.

"We make sure we are in the platforms where our viewers now want to consume content," he said.

"So one of them as I was sharing earlier is on Amazon Prime Video so a lot of our programs have started to be on Amazon Video Prime," Francia continued.

According to Francia, there is more good news in the works "in terms of internet enabled distribution of content" which they will soon announce.

"So mapapanood na hindi lang sa loob ng bahay on the big screen, GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Live TV, but also outside of the home on your mobile phone and the internet. In the next couple of days, very soon you should be among the very first people to know about the details of this exciting project," he said.
