Golden Cañedo opens up about non-showbiz BF, debuts new love song ‘Walang Hanggang Sandali’

"The Clash" Season 1 grand champion Golden Cañedo just opened up about her blossoming relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend.

The Kapuso singer and US-based pre-med student Martin Raval just marked their first anniversary as together last August 14.

But because of the COVID-19 situation, the couple opted for a simple virtual celebration over video.

During a live interview on "Unang Hirit," Golden revealed how she and Martin have gotten used to being apart, long before the pandemic.

"Hindi naman po bago sa 'min na magkalayo kami. In a year, nagkikita lang kami ng tatlong beses, so nung time na 'yun hindi naman po niya ako binigo," Golden said.

"Sobrang effort po niya talaga kasi first year anniversary po namin," she added.

Quite fittingly, the singer just released a new love song called "Walang Hanggang Sandali," which is about finding love in an unexpected time.
