Rocco Nacino says he cried removing his 'Descendants of the Sun' costume for the last time

Rocco Nacino revealed that he teared up removing his character's uniform as "Descendants of the Sun" wrapped up its taping days.

The actor, who played soldier Diego Ramos, shared on Instagram a photo of himself in a soldier uniform as he made the Korean heart sign.

Finally home. Yesterday was the last day na suot ko ang uniporme ni Diego Ramos. Mangiyak iyak ako habang hinuhubad ko ang outfit na ito, realizing that yes, tapos na kami sa show na ito. Thank you Wolf, talagang minahal ko ang pagganap sa character mo, dahil sayo kaya ako naging isang Navy Reservist. The tears weren't for the last taping day, it was all for the blessings that came because of the show. Now we sit back and wait, sabik ako makita ang produkto ng pinaghirapan namin ng isang taon. "Yesterday was the last day na suot ko ang uniporme ni Diego Ramos," Rocco wrote. "Mangiyak iyak ako habang hinuhubad ko ang outfit na ito, realizing that yes, tapos na kami sa show na ito."

He also thanked his character and expressed how much he loved playing him to the point that he signed up to become a Navy reservist.

The actor added, "The tears weren't for the last taping day, it was all for the blessings that came because of the show. Now we sit back and wait, sabik ako makita ang produkto ng pinaghirapan namin ng isang taon."

He then thanked the cast and crew of the show, his girlfriend Melissa Gohing, as well as GMA Network. Rocco also thanked South Korean actor Jin Goo, who originally played his character, "for doing a damn good job as Wolf that got me to be part of this project."

Finally signing off, Rocco added, "This is Technical Sargeant Diego Ramos, aka Wolf, mission accomplished!"

Many celebrities, such as Jennylyn Mercado and Dingdong Dantes, have bid their goodbyes in a bittersweet farewell as the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean series "Descendants of the Sun" finished shooting the rest of its episodes. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
