KC Concepcion gets shoutout from Shakira

KC Concepcion is living her best life, and no less than Shakira is here for it!

The actress shared on Instagram Saturday a video greeting from Shakira, who congratulated her for her cooking show.

“Hey KC, a little birdie told me that you like my music, thank you so much. I wanted to say hi and congratulations on your new show, your new cooking show. I hope it goes really well, and I wish you the best of luck,” the Colombian singer told KC in the video clip.

“Thank you for supporting my newfound quarantine passion, my fitspiration, immortal powerhouse woman, [Shakira]!” KC wrote on her caption, tagging the Latina superstar.

She also praised Shakira for her unforgettable performance at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show and said she couldn’t “wait for her new single Girl Like Me to drop alongside my [Black Eyed Peas] bros.”

The actress then gave a shoutout “to my good friend [Apl.de.Ap] for this surprise.”

KC hosts the online cooking show “Kitchen Collabs,” which is now on its second season and aims to promote sustainable food consumption and production.
