Andrea Torres admits being starstruck with Paolo Contis on ‘I Can See You: The Promise’

It’s not just us who cried after watching Paolo Contis’ performance in the popular drama film “Through Night and Day.”

During a media conference for “I Can See You: The Promise” Thursday, Andrea Torres revealed that she herself was starstruck with Paolo when she started working with him.

“Na-starstruck ako … natuwa ako siya ’yung naka-partner ko,” said Andrea.

The actress said working with Paolo was easy and made her want to give her 100%.

“Makikita mo talaga na seryoso siya, na focused talaga,” Andrea added.

“I Can See You,” a unique drama anthology which highlights four mini-series including “The Promise,” has a special visual storytelling technique which uses a camera as a witness to the tales of love and pain of different characters.

On “I Can See You: The Promise,” Paolo will portray a man whose wife has died. However, he reunites with her as her soul possesses the body of his relative’s girlfriend, played by Andrea.

The mini-series, which stars Andrea, Paolo, Benjamin Alves, Yasmien Kurdi, and Maey Bautista, premieres this Monday, Oct. 5, on GMA Telebabad. – RC, GMA News
