Sanya Lopez reveals she never had a 'first love'

This just in: Sanya Lopez says she never really had a "first love."

This might be pretty hard to believe, given she's a gorgeous leading lady who is also 2020's Ginebra Calendar Girl, but it's true: The Kapuso actress made the confession during an interview on Thursday's "Unang Hirit."

GMA News' Lhar Santiago asked Sanya who her first love was, and the first thing she said was "Pet! Pusa."

She laughed, then explained: "Wala pa akong kinokonsider na talagang first love, siguro kapag dumating na."

Sanya Lopez was asked to reveal her "firsts" on "Unang Hirit" because she's set to star in the upcoming teleserye "First Yaya."

The actress may not have had a "first love" to share, but she did talk about her first showbiz friend, Derek Monasterio, as well as her first on-screen kiss, which was Rocco Nacino on "Encantadia."

"First Yaya" will also be Sanya's first time to work with Gabby Concepcion as her leading man.

"It's an honor na makapartner po si Mr. Gabby Concepcion," she said.

"Nagkaroon na po ng Zoom meeting, medyo nag-usap-usap na kami doon, and sobrang bait na tao po ni Mr. Gabby Concepcion, bukod sa gwapo at, syempre, magaling na aktor," she added. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
