Angeline Quinto reschedules mom's cremation due to Typhoon Ulysses
Angeline Quinto has rescheduled her adoptive mother's cremation due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Ulysses.
The cremation was supposed to take place on Thursday.
In an Instagram post, the Filipino singer shared a note addressed to her beloved Mama Bob, whose death was announced last weekend.
I love you very much, mama. Sobra, ma. I miss you. Mama Bob kong mahal na mahal," she added.
Angeline gave another farewell to Mama Bob early Friday morning by posting a memorable of the two of them sitting on a bench.
In the caption, the singer thanked her mom for being there for her throughout the years, stressing that she has always been her "ultimate idol."
"Good morning Mama Bob.
Angeline announced her adoptive mother's passing on Instagram last Saturday but did not disclose the cause of her death in her post.
Ulysses brought strong winds and heavy rain on Wednesday night that reminded many Luzon residents of 2009's Tropical Storm Ondoy.
The military has recorded 39 fatalities as a result of the typhoon. A total of 40 were injured and 22 are still missing, based on the records of the SRR cluster.
Ulysses was the eighth to hit the Philippines in the past two months and 21st of the year. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
